Celebrate healthy lifestyles and enjoy sports and tournament action at KitsFest, happening this weekend at Kits Beach - ranked by Forbes magazine as one of the sexiest beaches in North America.The event runs from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm daily and the weather forecast is for sunshine and warm beach weather. Here is a sampling of the many activities happening throughout the weekend:
- Beach Ice Hockey tournament presented by MolsonCoors
- Other sports competitions, including tennis, basketball, beach volleyball
- Top Vancouver DJs spinning Mowtown and R&B classic tunes
- Nintendo 3DS Tour - experience Nintendo's latest 3D graphics without the need for special glasses
- Games, activities and facepainting for younger beach-goers
There will be a bistro on site presented by Local Public Eatery, Chronic Tacos and the Boathouse on Kits Beach.
Bring your beach stuff, sunglasses and most importantly - sunscreen - stake your base camp on Kits Beach or at Kits Pool, then take in the KitsFest scenery!
