01/01/2012 - Dine Out Vancouver 2012: 10th Anniversary Festival

Dine Out Vancouver is the arguably the largest annual winter dining event in the city.

Presented by Tourism Vancouver, the 17-day festival runs from January 20 to February 5 and involves hundreds of local restaurants, bars and bistros offering a range of fixed menus, plus pairings with BC VQA wines and Kronenbourg beer.

Price points are $18, $28 and $38 (plus applicable tax and gratuity). Menus will be visible for comparing and booking on the Tourism Vancouver website starting January 9th.

A host of other events are scheduled for the festival's 10th anniversary year, including culinary and street food tours, cooking classes and food-wine pairing sessions.

Reserve early as the most popular restaurants and events will sell out fast. Planning to stay in Vancouver during Dine Out? Dozens of area hotels have joined the program to offer deals on accommodation priced at $78, $108 and $138 per room, per night (plus applicable taxes and only available during festival dates).

Another event featuring prix fixe menus runs concurrently to Dine Out Vancouver: FeastVan has brought together several East Vancouver culinary hot spots who are donating $1 off every one of their prix fixe menus to food programs for inner city children.
